Fiction on the Web is accepting submissions for online and audiobook publication, in the following genres:
- funny stories - for when you need a laugh
- creepy stories - to make your hair stand on end
- fantastic stories - ghosts, swords, magic and fantasy
- futuristic stories - many worlds of science fiction
- criminal stories - crooks and detectives
- real life stories - everyday life and relationships
Submissions should be between 1,000 and 10,000 words, double-spaced in 12-point font.
By submitting, you warrant that you are the sole copyright owner of the work, the work does not currently appear anywhere else online, and the work contains no AI-generated text (exception: if you have used AI tools to help translate your story from your native language into English, please declare this clearly at the start of the story).
After submitting, you will receive an acknowledgment from Submittable.
You can usually expect a response within 30 days. If you are a patron, or you regularly leave comments on Fiction on the Web stories, you are more likely to get extended feedback on your response.
